In and out... too bad they forgot to wash my car
It's a great car wash... IF you don't mind someone tracking dirty footprints onto your floormats, leaving drops of water/solution all over your dash, a couple scratches on the back of your car, and maybe a present from the birds left ignored on your sunroof. That and their vacuums might not be able to pick up heavy things like leaves or lint, because this was all still there, as well. Oh, and do make sure to take anything that could POSSIBLY be damaged out of your car. I had a valuable print in the front seat that I asked politely and specifically to be treated carefully because I didn't want to wait around with it outside, and while their guy didn't do anything in the manner of cleaning my interior, he managed to put a bend it cleanly with his knee. Positive: it was nice outside today, but that's more to Santa Monica's credit. My best advice? Save some money, grab a latte and watch some cheerleaders splash soapy water all over themselves instead. They'll still clean your car better than these guys.

This is not a business...
My one and only (forever) experience with this place was straight out of the movie ?Brazil?: I had an appointment for a wash/wax/interior detail at 9 am the next day. I show up for the appt. and the guy says ?come back at 10 because we don?t know if its gonna rain or not and don?t know if we?re gonna be open today, gotta wait and see what the boss says.? I say ?well, that?s OK, you can just do the interior, since that?s most important anyway.? The guy sticks to his guns and states that no work will commence until he hears from the bossman at 10. So, to summarize, here were my problems with the scenario: 1. I had an appointment. That means pouring rain or no, you need to do what we agreed to. 2. There was no rain. Clear blue sunny LA day 3. You can do the interior rain or shine (they had a covered area) 4. There were no less that four guys sitting around doing nothing. 5. I went to some place on Lincoln and they did everything right away, also they were super busy. This place can?t be a business, they do not want your business, do not waste your time attempting to support them.
